A Quick Word About the Anthony Recommends
I´m often asked, by customers and the press, what´s "the best" book to read on a particular game. If I can get all the details about what they´re looking for, I can usually come up with a good selection. But often, I don´t have all the details. In such cases, I choose a book that I feel is beginner-friendly, but also has enough advanced information to accommodate someone who´s played before, and will improve their results. This is the primary guideline I use in the choices that follow.
I hope you won´t be concerned that many (not all) of the choices are Huntington Press titles. The truth is, we set out to acquire and produce the best products in gambling, and in many cases, that´s what we´ve done.
Video Poker
I recommend the Dancer/Daily Strategy Cards, which you can carry into the casinos and consult while you play.
My choice for best video poker book is More Frugal Gambling, which contains the best 60 pages on how to play video poker available from any source, along with another 300 pages of powerful gambling advice.
Close on its heels is Million Dollar Video Poker, which explains how video poker pros work the system to win.
