Sean Connery returns in the seventh James Bond movie, in which evil Ernst Blofeld is using diamonds to create an ultra powerful space laser that will allow him to blackmail the world for more millions than anyone could count in 1971.
The action-packed film has numerous subplots that nearly become vignettes in their own right and is full of the famous Bond one-liners. It was shot extensively on location in Las Vegas and features numerous landmarks and famous hotels, including the Las Vegas Hilton, Tropicana, Riviera, Circus Circus, Tropicana, Landmark, the Strip, and Fremont Street. The character of Willard Whyte is based loosely on reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes.
The Ultimate Edition includes features not present in the Special Edition, including two more deleted scenes, test footage of the satellite and explosions extensive footage of the elevator fight scene, plus a 1971 BBC interview with Sean Connery.
